| Express Kids
Express Kids is designed so that your child can be seen as quickly as possible. Typical appointment types would include fevers, breathing problems, sore throats, injuries, etc. When your child is placed into the Express Kids schedule you will be given an appointment time, but will not be scheduled with any particular provider. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be seen by the first available provider. The providers will be saving space in their schedule to accommodate these appointments. So Express Kids is kind-of like an urgent care clinic operating within the pediatric clinic. It should not be used for multiple or complex problems or to managing chronic conditions. If you need to address these issues apart from the acute problem, you will be asked to schedule a Preferred Care appointment at a later time. |
