Keith Tolar MD
Dr. Tolar is a native of middle Tennessee (Dickson). He completed his undergraduate education at Trevecca College in Nashville (1987). He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis (1991). He completed his pediatric residency with the University of Tennessee at LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis (1994). Dr. Tolar practiced for 3 years in southern Ohio before moving to Lawrenceburg to start The Children's Clinic (1997). He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He and his wife, Stefanie (from Green Hill, AL), have seven children. Dr. Tolar's greatest passion in life is to grow in his knowledge of and love for God. His favorite bible passage is Psalms 27:4: "One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple." He desires to see a generation of young people fascinated with the beauty of God and standing in the place the psalmist wrote about. His philosophy of care as a pediatrician is best summed up in the mission statement of The Children's Clinic.
